Ordered something from thebuilderdepot.com. Ended up needing to return it. The refund did come through eventually, so that part was fine, but it took longer than I expected. I had to follow up a couple times, which was the annoying bit. Not a terrible experience overall. Just kind of a hassle...

"I ordered a few building supplies…"
I ordered a few building supplies and then realized I’d picked the wrong item, so yeah, that part was definitely on me. But trying to return it ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. The return policy feels strict, and once you add in shipping costs and restocking fees, it almost doesn’t feel worth sending anything back. I did reach out to customer service, and they responded, but it didn’t really solve much. I’m kind of tired of having to chase down basic help for stuff like this. Prices are fine, but I’d only order if you’re absolutely sure you’re getting the right thing.

"Helpful, but Communication Could’ve Been Clearer"
They did help me pick out the right parts, which I appreciated. That said, the communication wasn’t always very clear, and I had to ask a few extra questions to understand what was going on. A little annoying, but in the end I got what I needed.

Pickup was okay overall. Uh, the staff did find my order, but it took a little waiting around. Prices were fine, but the pickup area was kind of confusing since it was my first time there.

The box showed up a bit crushed, which wasn’t great. To be fair, everything inside was still fine and undamaged, so it wasn’t a big issue for me. I just think it could be packed a little better next time

I ordered tile from thebuilderdepot.com and was impressed. The photos on the site were really accurate, the color and texture looked just like what showed up at my door. I’ve ordered from other tile places before where the product looked noticeably different in person, so this was a nice change. No surprises at all, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

"Good value and a smooth experience"
I ordered a few building bits from thebuilderdepot.com it was a hassle-free experience. The prices seemed fair compared to other places, checkout was straightforward, and the delivery arrived when they said it would. One item’s packaging was a little damaged, but the actual product was fine, so I wasn’t too bothered. Overall, I felt it was good value for the money and I’d be happy to order from them again.

The instructions were helpful and got me through the install without much trouble. I’m usually cautious with this kind of thing because I don’t want to damage anything or have to redo it, so I followed them closely. The only issue was that they missed one small detail, which made me pause for a bit. Once I figured it out, everything went fine.

I think the whole experience went smoothly. They kept me updated along the way and got back to me quickly whenever I had a question. I didn’t really have to chase anyone down, which was nice. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience

They had a good amount of stuff in stock, but a few tiles I picked showed as available and then turned out not to be 😕 I ended up swapping them for similar options, which worked out okay. Shipping was fine overall. Not a terrible experience, I just wish the inventory info was more accurate before checkout.

"Wish the Sample Options Had Been Better"
I was hoping to order a few samples before committing to anything, but the options were limited. Of course, with my luck, the colors I liked didn’t have sample options at all. The site itself was easy enough to use, but the timing was just bad because I really needed to check things in person before buying.
